We all hoped there was a 4 dimensional chess game being played and most of us would admit that the repugs gave us way more ammunition than was needed to blow this election apart... It never happened...
Since the election repugs have been all over the TV clearly saying all the horrible things they are going to try and do... yet the Administration continues to preach this "why can't we all just get along" baloney and the media (with one exception)is also heavily messaging the meme that the elections said the "people" clearly said we needed more cooperation... when in fact, the truth is millions of disillusioned folks stayed home because they were sick and tired of the appeasement and leaderless spineless rhetoric spewing forth every day by the Administration...
I've had it. Despite working harder for Obama than ever for anyone in my 60 years, I no longer have but a sand partical of faith that there is any other agenda but an utter corporate takeover of our country. The Administration could not have done more for the repugs than it did... it's as if their is a very sophisticated plan being played out to move us in one direction only: a banana republican run plutocracy...
My messages to the Administration, which have grown more strident with each passing month, have gone unanswered for a long time. I just got through sending another:
Your administration is rapidly becoming transparent...a republican Trojan horse designed to destroy any opportunity to take our country back from the ultra rich who are plundering and destroying what is left of our once great nation. I am thoroughly disgusted with your refusal to stand up for the people and fight against the corporatist juggernaut the republican party and unfortunately, the democratic party are becoming.
We lost the election because millions of your most ardent followers have beocome so disillusioned with your continued capitulation to the thugs poised to take over Congress. It makes me sick to see YOU blaming the progressive side of the party for calling on you to stand up to them.
What would "Showing some guts" entail? How about:
Tax cuts: LET THEM ALL EXPIRE IF NEED BE...NO MORE RICH GIVEAWAYS MORTGAGING OUR FUTURE TO THE RAPISTS FLEECING THE PUBLIC.
Energy: PUT PEOPLE BACK TO WORK INSULATING AND SOLARIZING THE HOMES WE ARE LIVING IN!!!!
Banksters: TELL THEM THEY WILL START INVESTING IN AMERICA'S FUTURE OR YOU'LL CUT THEIR THROATS...
Elections: INACT A TRUTH IN CAMPAIGNING LAW, LIKE THE TRUTH IN ADVERTISING RULES WHICH DO NOT ALLOW LIEING TO THE PEOPLE. GAO SHOULD ASSURE TRUTH IN EVERY AD.
Global Warming: MAKE IT THE CRISIS ISSUE IT IS AND ADDRESS THIS CATASTROPHIC PROBLEM TIED TO A MASSIVE JOBS BILL TO BUILD A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE! YOU CAN EASILY SCARE THE SHIT OUT OF EVERY AMERICAN WITH THE TRUTH FOR A CHANGE!!!!
Messaging: STAND UP AND SAY:"NO MORE"...THE PEOPLE WILL RALLY AROUND AND MAYBE...WE STAND A CHANCE OF SAVING OUR COUNTRY.
Right now, I see your entire administration as a Corporate/Republican Trojan horse...Many others are wising up to this. There is NO OTHER reason you continue to play the capitulation game... It pains me so to say this, but every day you continue along these paths it seems more and more to be true.
How can you do this to us? YOU MUST KNOW WHERE IT WILL END UP... Please find your soul and heart and spine... or the country...indeed, all of humanity...is LOST.

I, like many of you am saddened to be writing this...but it must be written... and if we have any hope left for 2012 we have to begin organizing behind some real firebrands who will stand up for us... like Alan Grayson, Anthony Weiner and Sheldon Whitehouse (there's a name I can believe has a destiny!)
I don't know about the governors, but are there any who can stand up to the media, the repugs, and the Corporations? The person MUST be a fighter, able to SLAM back, REALTIME... if we are to seriously take on the Hidden Agenda which seems to be playing out right before our eyes...
I no longer believe we elected someone "we can believe in". I think we elected someone who co-opted the growing mood demanding change, and then, whether by design, threats, or spinelessness... has decided to throw us off the buss into the maws of the sharks currently eating our nation while we swim, desperately searching for a safe harbor...
